If you have a CD or DVD ISO image and you want to mount it, you can do this easily using Gmount-iso software.
To install it, open the console (terminal) and type:
sudo aptitude install gmountiso

We need to enter now the super-administrator password, and before the instalation will begin.
Once the instalation it's done, to open the program, we must go to:
Applications -> System Tools -> Gmount-iso

Its use is very simple, the first dialog box is to locate the iso file. Then the mount point, for example, we put / media/cdrom0. Once we set this infos, we need to click on MOUNT button.
If everything's good, we will see the icon on the desktop indicating that we mount the device correctly. To unmount the images, we must click on Unmount button.
